The company has been involved in the design, manufacturing, installation, and maintenance of baggage handling systems since it was founded in 1982 by James Goertz.
G&S airport conveyor's U.S. Corporate office is located in Wichita, Kansas, its Canadian Corporate office is located in Strathmore, Alberta.
